Nykko-Mickael Gregoire – Accompanist
He was born in France in 1979 and started life as a musician when he was in his teens. He studied at the conservatoire in Angouleme on the organ with Frederic Ledroit, and the piano with Brigitte Bouthinon-Dumas. He later moved to the conservatoire of Bordeaux in 1997 where he studied organ with Francois Espinasse and Christian Mouyen, harmony and composition with Claude Bass, harpsichord with Martine Chappuis and the ‘Ondes Martenot’ with Dominique Kim.
He obtained his Diploma in Music in 2002 and his Teaching Diploma in 2005.
He worked extensively as a teacher and an accompanist for choirs, soloists and instrumentalists, but was still eager to continue learning and further studied piano with Sarah Cohen and Yannick Fournier, composition with Claude Bass and singing with Igor Benoit until summer 2009 when he moved to live in England, where he currently lives in Telford.
